37 Teenagers from all over India earn 1 lakh through student run E-commerce platform, challenging the traditional education model

37 high school students got together with every ounce of energy, hopes, dreams and hard work and put their business idea in action. They wanted to learn business, tech, AI and everything else the real world had to offer but could not do so through traditional means.

They understood that simply learning words in a textbook by heart was taking them nowhere. Their parents took notice and took action. They encouraged their children to broaden their horizons and break past the norm of rote learning.

These children then came up with their own venture, Tecteenshop.com, where they leveraged the business, tech, marketing, and AI skills they had accumulated so far. From developing the product to sourcing it; Negotiating with vendors and setting up the e-commerce store; Everything was deftly handled by these young mavericks. They have already reported a revenue of 1 Lakh INR.

From Mishti of Punjab to Nishchay from NCR to Sean from Bangalore to Dhriti from Hyderabad; they are busy being intern CEOs, learning real profit and loss statements, marketing budgets and social media engagement.

“One can easily smell the money and the growth. These kids are running a real business, handling real money, dealing with real people and facing real consequences a decade before anyone even expects them to do any of these things” said an official from GVC.

“My daughter wakes up at 7am to respond to a query from US customers. She has learned more about business in the last 6 months than any MBA student who has never even sold a 10 rupees pen" reflects Ananya’s (12 years old) parent from Gurugram.
